Rinn AI represents a major consolidation of Ireland's research infrastructure creating a unified national footprint spanning 15 Research Performing Organisations —including all 13 of Ireland's universities—and unites over 288 principal investigators to achieve the critical mass needed for global leadership in data science and AI.
Rinn AI prioritizes responsible and trustworthy technology that enhances human autonomy, dignity, and equity. We tackle urgent societal challenges—such as climate change, healthcare, political polarization, and algorithmic bias—by embedding ethics, data privacy, user consent, and public dialogue into the research lifecycle.
Rinn AI works collaboratively with industry, technology leaders, government and state bodies. We provide opportunities to collaborate on bespoke research projects, access to a national talent pipeline, testbeds/sandboxes and joint labs along with engagement in national and international standards and policy development.
